The Festivillage starts at the base of Trestle Bike Park and extends throughout The Village at Winter Park. Visit some of CFF’s sponsors including Monster Energy, Go Pro, Maxxis, and KIND for samples and to learn about their product. This area is also loaded with retailers, bike manufacturers and accessories, and outdoor enthusiast brand. The Village at Winter Park Resort is loaded with fun for families. Enjoy professional stunt shows, Denver Health’s Family bike fest, free pump track lessons, bike decorating, and more. Colorado Freeride Festival has something to do for everyone!

Professional Mountain Bike Trial Rider Stunt Show featuring X-games gold medalist: Aurélien Fontenoy The professional athlete, true talent and CFF fan favorite, Fontenoy, stuns watchers with his unbelievable tricks. Watch as he does tricks like jump his bike off and onto Village Gazebo, leap it over an actual person, and more.

Maxxis BMX Stunt Team

Maxxis BMX Stunt Team riders have competed at the X Games, Gravity Games and Dew Action Sports Tour, have been featured on Fox Sports, NBC's America's Got Talent, the History Channel's American Restoration and Monday Night Football, and are sure to be a crowd-stopper at the Colorado Freeride Festival! Their bicycle performances feature high-flying aerial stunts, such as back flips and tail whips, and mind-boggling technical maneuvers executed on the ground and ramps. Make sure you're at the Winter Park Resort base when these guys are performing because you're not going to want to miss it!

The Village at Winter Park’s Friday Music Series

Don’t miss this band that travelled all the way from Charleston, South Carolina to be with us for Colorado Freeride Festival. Their music is classified as rock n’ roll with sweat and soul, and in truth are a very talented group that knows how to get the crowd moving. What could be better after a full day of biking and activities than unwinding with live music in the Village Gazebo from 4 to 6 PM.

Coca-Cola Family Movie Night featuring Zootopia

Watch this 2016 new release in a unique way: mountainside under the stars. The show starts at dusk, as soon as it’s dark enough to see the screen and is free to guests. Chairs and bean bags are available, but are all first come, first served. Outside chairs, blankets, pillows, food and beverages are allowed. Popcorn will also be provided free of charge.


Stuff To Learn

Green Horn-it Lessons

Get your youngster started with the right skills and techniques to give them a better race day experience. This clinic, run by our Trestle Ride School professionals, is designed for beginner/novice racers that are considering competing in the Green Horn-it! Challenge. After the clinic, the kids can stick around and watch the adults race down this course in the New Belgium Super Downhill prologue. Meet on the Zephyr side of the Trestle Bike Park shop lawn, where Trestle Bike Park meets for all their daily lessons.

Pump Track Lessons

Navigate Trestle Bike Park's pump track in the Village by the Cabriolet and receive instruction on safety and riding tips as part of the Denver Health's Family Bike Fest. These lessons take place 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday.


Things To Enjoy

Bike Decoration Station

Trick out your bike with decorations like spoke beads, handlebar streamers, stickers and more. We’ll provide the decorations, and kids can go crazy making their bikes flashy and colorful for the bike parade later in the day. Decorating takes place on Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Family Bike Parade

After you’ve tricked out your ride, show it off in the parade. We’ll start at the top of the Village, under the cabriolet drop-off, and work our way through the Village to near the bottom of the mountain. Finish off the grand parade with the final raffle prize drawing and snagging your spot for the ever-popular intergalactic pond crossing.

Kids Strider and Mountain Bike Raffle

Throughout Friday and Saturday, enter to win a kid’s strider bike or our grand prize of a brand new Giant mountain bike. No purchase necessary to win! We’ll be drawing the ticket of the winners at 3:45 right near the Village Gazebo. You must be present to win.

Face painting and balloon shapes

The kids activities will be hopping on Saturday with face painting in the morning and balloon shape sin the evening. Get your face painted with a fun, bright colors, and receive a free balloon animal (or bike) later in the day.
